Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
In Plain English:
HabitTrack does not collect, record, transmit, sell, or analyze any of your data. There are no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, and no remote databases. All information you enter resides 100% locally in your browser storage.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
HabitTrack is engineered as an offline-first client application. We have zero visibility into your data:
- No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or store names, emails, phone numbers, or passwords.
- No Habit Content: Your habit titles, positions, and completion logs never leave your physical device.
- No Telemetry: We do not track page views, button clicks, time spent in app, or device hardware identifiers.
2. Local Storage Technologies
The application saves your preferences and logs locally using modern browser APIs:
IndexedDB
Stores habit rows and day-by-day completion logs on your physical device.
localStorage
Stores your aesthetic preference (light mode or dark purple mode).
3. Cookies & Trackers
HabitTrack uses zero cookies and includes zero tracking libraries. You will never see cookie consent banners because we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
4. Data Deletion & Ownership
You have absolute sovereignty over your habit data. You can erase any individual habit from the three-dot menu, or wipe all stored application data by clearing your browser's site data or cache at any time.
